It's been over a year since we made big changes to the mobile library service - including two new vehicles, Saturday stops and being able to get books from any library in the county.
When we introduced the changes we said we would review the service after it had bedded in. We are seeking your views to inform that review, everybody contributing will be told when any proposals from the review are available and will receive a summary of the consultation. To give your views visit the online consultation >>
Herefordshire Libraries can help you dig up your family history. You can now get access to Ancestry, the online family history resource from the PCs in libraries. To use Ancestry go to the Ancestry Library Edition website from any library computer. To use our other online resources which include information which will help you with family and local history visit our online reference library page.
Herefordshire Libraries has ten libraries throughout the county that range from small village libraries to the central city library in Hereford. We also have two new mobile libraries with low floors to enable easy access.
We offer an exciting range of services from loans of books, DVDs and CDs and Playstation games and free internet access to an ever changing programme of adult and children's events, regular storytimes and baby bounce and rhyme sessions and reading groups.
Any book on the library catalogue can be requested free of charge and delivered to any library or the mobile library, giving you access to much more than what is in your local library. Click on the search our catalogue link in the right hand menu to find and request books.
